Automotive photography has been a family affair with both my grandfather and my father working as both press & automotive photographers. I was brought up on 35mm film cameras with a home-based dark room along with the smelly chemicals and sore eyes!
Later in life, my career took me into the IT and internet industries which inevitably pushed me into digital photography way before most photographers had heard of it. I would only use photographic images taken by myself, or my team for our website projects.
My Digital Agency, www.davidjmarsh.co.uk, ethos has always been to be the best in what we do and what we provide for our clients. As such, I invested heavily in the best digital cameras available at any period of time. Having gone through many years of Canon cameras and Canon ‘L’ lenses I decided to move to Nikon at a time when they had huge megapixel cameras which was vital for my HDR photography work.
My HDR imaging work was considered to be class leading by many organisations and resulted in me being featured on the front cover of the International Canon EOS magazine. My passion has always been fast cars and as a member of the Ferrari Owners Club, I was lucky enough to be involved in many events and photographic projects across the UK.
HDR photography has won me work with many of the UK’s leading automotive organisations and much of this work can be viewed within this website or my main website, www.davidjmarsh.co.uk
As a creative B2B chap, my photography work is approached from a different angle to that of my competitors. I can see how my images will used within my clients POS or marketing materials both online and printed. As such I make allowances for composition and colour etc.
